Hi, I’m Ivan Okyere-Boakye, the photographer, videographer and blogger behind Ivan’s Travel Stories. I’m based in London, and I share honest travel guides, photographs and videos from the places I visit, so you can see what they are genuinely like and plan your own travels with greater confidence.

I started taking photos in 2008 after a friend told me about a new camera they had bought. It sparked something, and I went down the full beginner’s route: my first DSLR, lenses, filters and bags — yes, you guessed it.

That was the start of what has been an amazing journey combining my enjoyment and appreciation of travelling, photography and videography.

I am lucky to have visited many beautiful places in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe, and look forward to sharing some of my photographs, videos and travel tips with you.
